1If you are a Citizens Personal Checking, Savings or Money Market account customer that has set up a direct deposit with a payor, you may be able to get that direct deposit up to two days early with Citizens Paid Early®. Whether a direct deposit is eligible for Paid Early is at our discretion and we cannot guarantee that you will always receive the Paid Early service.
2Citizens Peace of Mind®: Citizens Peace of Mind provides additional time to bring your account to a positive available balance and reverse Overdraft Fees. If your account is overdrawn, you have up until 10:00 PM ET the following business day (e.g., if your account is overdrawn at the end of the day Monday, you have until 10:00 PM ET Tuesday) to deposit enough funds to cover all of the overdraft items (minus the fees), and any additional transactions that post to the account that day. If the available balance, excluding the overdraft fees, is positive (greater than or equal to $0) at the end of the following business day, any overdraft fees will be reversed. When determining the amount you need to deposit to take advantage of Citizens Peace of Mind, you can check your balance in the Citizens mobile app or Online Banking and then consider transactions that may post to your account that day - such as checks or other debits. As we do not see these transactions until they are presented for payments, only you know what transactions may post to your account and how much you need to deposit. A deposit that only partially covers transactions or overdraft items will not result in a fee reversal. All deposits are subject to our Funds Availability schedule. This schedule helps you determine when a deposit you make will increase your available balance. For example, some deposits types such as checks drawn on a bank other than Citizens, even if made by 10:00 PM ET the next business day, are not available to cover transactions that day. But a deposit of cash, a Citizens check, or an electronic funds transfer will generally be available to cover the transactions. Citizens Peace of Mind is available on personal checking accounts. If your account has a linked overdraft transfer plan, these plan transfers will apply before Peace of Mind. Any applicable plan transfer fees are not eligible for Peace of Mind rebates.
3IMPORTANT DETAILS ON OVERDRAFT COVERAGE: When we pay a transaction that overdraws your account, we will charge you an Overdraft Fee of $35 per item paid. When we return a check or ACH transaction unpaid because your account has insufficient funds, we will not charge you a fee. We will limit to 5 the number of Overdraft Fees charged on any one business day, up to a total of $175. Once you have overdrawn your account, you must bring it to a positive balance as soon as possible. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing or if the overdraft amount is excessive.
Citizens offers two overdraft plans- Savings Overdraft Transfer Plan and Overdraft Line of Credit. There is no fee for Savings Overdraft Transfer Plan. The $12 transfer fee per day for Overdraft Line of Credit Plan is waived for Student Checking, Citizens EverValue Checking®, Citizens Quest® Checking, Citizens Private Client® Checking and Citizens Private Bank® Checking. There is no transfer fee on any day in which all overdraft transactions are $5 or less or the overdraft plan transfer is $5 or less- $5 Overdraft Pass®. The $30 Annual Fee on Overdraft Line of Credit is waived for Student Checking, Citizens EverValue Checking, Citizens Quest Checking, Citizens Private Client Checking and Citizens Private Bank Checking. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for an Overdraft Line of Credit is 21% on all outstanding loan balances. Credit approval is required.

5CitizensPlus® benefits cannot be applied in addition to other promotional benefits or discounts that we may offer from time to time. In order to qualify or maintain CitizensPlus, you must maintain an open Citizens Quest Checking® or Citizens Private Client® Checking account. We may evaluate accounts periodically to determine qualifications and have the right to remove benefits based on failure to meet qualifications. Benefits subject to change.
6Just one deposit of any amount each statement period waives the monthly maintenance fee on a One Deposit Checking from Citizens®. A $3 statement delivery service charge per statement period will apply to deliver paper statements. However, customers who use eStatements will not incur a statement delivery service charge. To enroll in eStatements and get your statements online, visit citizensbank.com/estatements. Statement delivery service charge per statement period does not apply for account owners 65 or older, for account owners under 18, for braille or large print statements, for Student Checking, or for products that are part of a Citizens Quest®, Citizens Private Client® or Citizens Private Bank® relationship.
7$5 OVERDRAFT PASS®: No Overdraft Fee will be charged on any overdraft item of $5 or less, including ATM and debit card overdrafts if you are enrolled in Debit Card Overdraft Coverage, or when your account is overdrawn and the total overdrawn amount at the end of the same business day is $5 or less.
8Monthly Maintenance Fee will be waived if at least one deposit is posted to your One Deposit Savings from Citizens® account before the end of your monthly maintenance fee period OR a $200 minimum daily balance is maintained in your account. To find your next monthly maintenance fee period, refer to your most recent statement. Account will automatically receive a fee waiver on the first 4 monthly maintenance fees. The bank will waive the monthly maintenance fee if you are under 25 or 65 or older and provide us with your date of birth. When a Monthly Maintenance Fee is applied to your account, it is applied on the last day of the statement period. The number of days in the statement period will vary. If you receive a quarterly statement, please note that we calculate and apply these fees to each monthly period in the quarter.
9Non-Citizens ATM owners may charge a fee. Fees charged by Non-Citizens ATM owners will be rebated for Citizens Private Client and Citizens Private Bank® accounts.
10Total deposits must be posted to the primary checking account before the end of your statement period. Monthly combined balance is calculated by adding the market value of any linked investment account as of the day before your Citizens Quest Checking statement date and the average daily balances of all other qualified linked accounts for a specific cycle. This cycle for all qualified deposit accounts begins the day of your last Citizens Quest Checking statement and ends the day before the current Quest statement. If you add another qualified linked account to your existing Citizens Quest Checking relationship, the cycle begins the day the additional account is linked. Qualified accounts include all linked deposit and investment balances. For unlimited linked checking and savings account: Accounts must be linked to the primary Citizens Quest® Checking account. An owner of the primary Citizens Quest® Checking account must be on the additional accounts.
11OVERDRAFT LINE OF CREDIT: $30 Annual Fee, $12 Transfer Fee per day for each day a transfer(s) occurs, plus interest on outstanding balances. The Annual Fee and Transfer Fee is waived for Citizens Quest, Citizens Private Client®, Citizens Private Bank®, Citizens EverValue and Student Checking. 12Citizens Private Client® Checking has no monthly maintenance fee but does require a $200,000 monthly combined deposit and investment balance across your linked accounts. Your relationship will be periodically reviewed for the purpose of determining Citizens Private Client® Checking eligibility. If you do not maintain the required monthly combined balances, any Citizens Private Client Banking accounts will be converted to Citizens Quest accounts and will be subject to the terms and conditions then in effect for Citizens Quest. For unlimited linked checking and savings account: Accounts must be linked to the primary Citizens Quest® or Citizens Private Client® Checking account. An owner of the primary Citizens Quest® or Citizens Private Client® Checking account must be on the additional accounts.

14At least one account owner must be under 25 years old. Account will switch to One Deposit Checking from Citizens when all account owners are age 25 or older.
15Student Checking and Citizens EverValue Checking accounts do not come with standard overdraft coverage. So, if you don’t have sufficient available funds in your account to cover a transaction, it will be declined and, in the case of checks, bill payments and ACH transactions, the item will be returned unpaid. While these accounts are designed to prevent overdrafts, there may be times when your account could have a negative balance. This could happen if a purchase you make is approved for one amount, but the final charge is more than your available balance. For example, when you use your debit card at a restaurant and then add a tip, the final amount could result in a negative balance. If a transaction results in a negative balance on your account, we will not charge you an Overdraft Fee. You can set up an Overdraft Plan from a Savings account or Line of Credit to help you cover transactions when you don’t have sufficient available funds. Both plans are available with no fee on Student Checking and Citizens EverValue Checking accounts. Credit approval is required and finance charges apply. $5 Overdraft Pass and Debit Card Overdraft Coverage do not apply to Student Checking and Citizens EverValue Checking accounts.

19Money market accounts are subject to restrictions and limitations on the types of withdrawals and transfers you may make. Please refer to the Personal Deposit Account Agreement and Personal Deposit Account Fees & Features Guide for information on transaction limits. Exceeding these transaction limitations may result in the transfer of account to a non-interest-bearing checking account.
